Introducing: Spring Studios New York
December 13th, 2018
Since its 1995 inception as a photography studio in London’s Kentish Town, Spring Studios has evolved into a leading force for innovation and creativity around the world. Founder Mark Loy’s vision to foster community and collaboration within the creative industries has grown into an expansive concept of interrelated creative services. At Spring New York, photography studios that double as high-end event spaces coexist with an in-house creative agency and a private membership and co-working club for creative leaders. Every service that creative individuals and businesses require to succeed is housed in one thoughtfully designed building.
The New York flagship occupies 120,000 sq ft of versatile space in Manhattan's Tribeca neighbourhood. Airy and bright column-less studios feature floor-to-ceiling windows, glass-fronted greenrooms, and more than 200 pieces of mid-century modern furniture from Europe and Brazil. Its halls are frequented year-round by the crème de la crème of the fashion, art, design, tech, and business worlds, including such landmark events as Tribeca Film Festival, Independent Art Fair, and New York Fashion Week. In 2018, Spring Studios began an exciting partnership with IMG, creating a new Fashion Week hub for runway shows, presentations, and pop-ups for major brands.
The adaptable raw spaces can accommodate varied productions from corporate conferences and product launches to art exhibitions, galas, and cocktail parties. An in-house venue production team, full facility services, and extraordinary hospitality all make Spring Studios a compelling space for event planners in New York who appreciate the possibilities of transforming raw space into an event sure to exceed guests’ expectations.
