Roma Convention Center "La Nuvola"
Designed by Massimiliano Fuksas, the Roma Convention Center features a fantastical cloud structure floating in a glass and steel case 40 meters high. The versatile complex has space for every event need, from theaters to meeting rooms to gala halls. The unique materials of the cloud structure and all-glass facade combine to create a truly spectacular atmosphere for all event attendees.
Total Events Solution
La Nuvola was conceived as a total events solution by famed Italian architect Massimiliano Fuksas and the city of Rome, offering a 1,700 seat auditorium, a 9,000 square meter modular space with 30 meeting rooms of all sizes, a 6,000 seat plenary room and a 2,500 square meter "Concourse” for events of all sizes and scales.
Unique Cloud Structure
The centerpiece of La Nuvola’s design is a modern architectural feat, and the diaphanous cloud encased in its glass and steel structure allows for an eco-conscious approach to energy. Photovoltaic panels on the exterior and a custom climate control system work to reduce energy consumption, no matter the scale of the event.
