Fashion Industry Origins
Opened in 1983 by former Condé Nast director Flavio Lucchini and journalist and magazine Gisella Borioli, this massive arts complex originally repurposed industrial warehouses into modern and fully equipped photographic studios and creative office space for the who’s who of the fashion, photography, and design worlds.
Milan’s Hub of Creativity
The original three photo studios were expanded into a variety of spaces for creative services, including galleries, major exhibitions, shoots, performances, and fashion shows. With spaces ranging from the 18sqm “Art Box” to the 2,500 sqm “Central Point,” Superstudio dominates as the preeminent creative hub and events center of Milan.
